New York Yankees Postgame Alert for July 6

Well the comeback almost came to light, but the Yankees fell short 7-6 at the stadium before heading to Minnesota tomorrow. Pettitte dropped to 8-4 on the season as the Yankees got hit hard early. They tried to stage a rally, even having bases loaded several times, but could not come through. Wang was placed on the 15-DL with his shoulder injury and it will be wait and see with him at this point. I do not expect a start from him until well after the All-Star Break at best. Lets hope the Yankees can head into Minnesota where the Twins have been playing great baseball.
