New York Yankees Postgame Alert for July 12

The Yankees head into the All-Star break on a very low note. Even with key players absent from the Angels lineup, the Yankees could once again not overcome the mighty Angels and got swept over the weekend. The Yankees continue to show that they cannot win the big game this season. Going for 0 for 8 against Boston and now getting swept against the Angels is not what the Yankees had in mind. Now they must get ready for the 2nd half of the season. The Rays are right behind them and the Red Sox now have a 3 game lead in the AL East. I am sure Cashman will be working the phones over the break to see if there are any moves to be made.
